In my last pregnancy, I had an anterior placenta, and while I felt movement early on, I didn't feel the big movements that I do at this time.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14512593790820167149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457237801798565093.post-19585174423162068202011-06-04T15:38:45.292-06:002011-06-04T15:38:45.292-06:00With it being your first baby, a lot of women have...With it being your first baby, a lot of women haven't even felt the baby move at this stage. I think I was around 17 or 18 weeks with #1. But, it is so inconsistent those first few weeks. You won't recongnize some of the movement because you are busy, and some of it just isn't strong enough to reach your abdomen. My placenta is in the front this time, so I don't feel baby girl move as much as I did Isaac at 20 weeks. I still feel her, but it is pretty random. As your baby (and mine) get bigger, you'll notice more patterns to her movement. Like, in the evenings when you sit down, or after lunch, etc. Or, when she's even bigger, at night when you are trying to sleep. ;)Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14798842025735776242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457237801798565093.post-66652756018799207532011-06-04T02:06:41.687-06:002011-06-04T02:06:41.687-06:00I didn't feel either of my babies until 20 wee...I didn't feel either of my babies until 20 weeks, so you are good! I was also worried (both times) about not enough movement but baby is still small and still has plenty of room to move without you being able to feel her. If it's in your budget, perhaps you can invest in a fetal doppler. I found mine on Ebay for around $75, but it eased a LOT of worry at times with both of my pregnancies. You're almost half way, girl... I'm SO excited for you!! xxGinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09757858572153561708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457237801798565093.post-44631274854965810992011-06-03T21:05:26.184-06:002011-06-03T21:05:26.184-06:00so I had to look back at my blog and see if i wrot...so I had to look back at my blog and see if i wrote anything about mason moving the earliest one I found was when I was 5 months. For a few weeks it was just ...Yup - totally normal! For a few weeks it was just random movement, no pattern, no set amount per day and I was the same it freaked me out. As of the last two weeks maybe it becomes more and more common, and I can feel him ALL the time. Rolls, punches, fingers tapping I swear! It will become more steady and more common in a few weeks, 18 weeks is still soooo early!!! =)Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00531270433999405167noreply@blogger.com
