Peace. Of. Mind

I waited 2.5 weeks for this ebay item to finally come in the mail!

It traveled to Hawaii and back and finally to my CURRENT address and I'm beyond thrilled.

When I heard the mailman's truck approach I practically tackled him to get to my package.

I quickly read (ok maybe skimmed) the directions and began searching for that precious heartbeat....

It was NOT an easy task....not at all!

(**I had to put this in bold because I cannot express enough how tough it was!**)

I searched, searched, cried, worried, stopped trying. Gave up. Tried again. Took a nap. Took a break. Tried AGAIN. After trying maybe 5 separate tear-filled times I read online that once I find my heartbeat to look behind it and it actually worked. I kept picking up a rate ranging from 90-112 so I knew it was mine.

Then, I finally heard the flicker that was clearly too fast to be mine. This was the reading....

*150? I'm still thinking boy!*

I have the same one! You definitely will know the difference when you hear it. The baby's heartbeat sounds like horse hooves! Or clopping. So exciting that you found it!!!

I knew I had seen something mentioning what's playing when I first devoured your blog in its entirety, but now I stay so close to the top due to the baby posts I guess I just forgot where to look. :( Thanks for setting me straight. :) On another note, it is absoultely AMAZING to check in this morning and the the countdown in the 100s!! Hooray!! Couldn't be more excited for you. God is certainly at work here.

I LOVED my heart monitor for baby! Loved it! So glad you got one. I will say though that sometimes it made me freak out more than I should have. In fact one time I made my husband take me to the ER because it just "didn't sound right". Yes I was crazy. And no nothing was wrong with the baby. :)
